Kia ora everyone
Today I went to a Matariki lesson with a woman called Whaea Ali.  We all had such fun. We made balm out of eucalyptus and Lavender along with coconut oil. It did not take long to make. It only toke like 5 minutes to make. You need to use a pot that you are really not going to use again in your life (You might have an old one maybe that you are not going to use again) and you put the coconut oil in and stir. Then the Lavender or eucalyptus oil, you put one or two drops in depending on how much you are having. It will harden eventually and you could before it hardens pour it in a little pot or cup and wait for it to harden. Next we made Matariki stars out of string and they were sometimes easy. We made one with either nine or eight stars and they looked very cool. It was my highlight of the day!!!!

Ancient ANZAC Letter

W.A.L.T: Write an ANZAC Letter about a soldiers life in war.

In our class we had to write an ANZAC Letter home to a family. It had to be about what a soldier in war would be thinking, feeling and how he would keep all his information safe from the enemy. It was very fun trying to make it I found some bits a little bit hard but I managed to get through it. I may have wrote about a rat crawling all over a soldiers head and eating all the lice YUCK! My letter looks very good and I hope you like it

Dear Family
Galipolli is very muddy the trenches I am siting in right now as I am writing this and it feels like I am swimming in a swamp. My ears are ringing as the bombs fly over me whistling. I am starving and I cant remember the last time I ate. Me and my friends are completely squashed in the strechers and we are cold.
